Building a cohesive and
efficient design system
Objective and purpose
The goal was to establish a robust design system, named Harmony, to unify guidelines, components, and tools for designers and developers. This system aimed to streamline collaboration, reduce handoff times, and create a seamless integration process for all stakeholders.

Crafting a cohesive and user-centric design system
This design system was built on core principles: maintaining a unified and accessible visual language, streamlining key interactions for efficiency, and prioritizing user needs through research and empathy-driven design. Foundational elements like spacing, font sizes, colors, and icons were standardized to promote consistency, while overlapping components were refined for clarity. A visual layer system tracked progress, and color palettes were rationalized to reduce redundancy. Clear guidelines for button usage ensured simplicity and focus, with primary actions prioritized and secondary options limited to avoid clutter. These systematic improvements created a scalable and accessible foundation for designers and developers alike.
Simplified collaboration and consistent design
Harmony significantly reduced design and development bottlenecks by centralizing resources and improving the system’s usability. It empowered teams to deliver consistent, efficient, and user-centered solutions across applications, making the design process more scalable and intuitive.
